Pregnant women, or women who are planning a pregnancy, are usually advised to consume folic acid. Whether it be in the form of milk that contains folic acid, folic acid supplements, and folate in the form of natural food ingredients. Actually, what’s the difference between folate and folic acid? Is the consumption of folic acid on a regular basis can increase the risk of cancer? What was meant by synthetic folic acid?
